Pasture Services

A pasture is much more than an open space with grass cover. When well-managed, your pasture can be a thriving, productive field that meets most or all of the nutritional requirements of its grazers, whether your horses, cattle, goats, sheep, alpacas, or other livestock are housed there. A healthy pasture will be a palanced blend of legumes for protein along with grasses for fiber and roughage, and the plan diversity will be enough to adequately meet the animals' nutrient needs. Dense growth will keep weeds and unwanted plants from creeping into the pasture, and the land's layout will provide proper drainage to ensure good watering without mold or fungus development.

Fertilization. We do liquid applications. Properly balanced amount of Nitrogen, all Micronutrients that the ground needs plus soil amendments like Humic Acid or Alfa Keto acids. We can do granular if necessary and add Bio to it for any pastures that are sandy ot that have a poor mineral transfer to the grass due to the soil/ sand. Soil Testing is done if the conditions of the pasture is very poor. This can be done to test for PH to acquire maximum production of grass per square foot.

Weed Control. We don't do mechanical or cultural. We use only approved herbicides and pre-emergent for weed control.

Seeding. We seed Bahaia in early summer and winter rye early winter.
